Perhaps I’m having delusions of grandeur now but I’m glad I put in the above post since it seems to have unlocked something and I’m currently working on a “biggie”. The trouble previously is that I was trying to be “tactful” and I was dancing around a lot of stuff without just coming out and saying it. I’m starting to understand what David Icke meant when he said his “public humiliation” on that Wogan talk show was liberating for him. It is such a relief to be jeered at and realise you don’t give a fuck anymore about trying to keep on the right side of people you have nothing but contempt for.

I don't think he's making shit up but he's really slow to notice what is real and what is hype. So he jumps on what is said.

He's also been quite stubborn to realize things. He takes so many steps towards the truth and then shits the bed on something like the moon landing. 🤣

The moon landing was definitely a cult classic of the time.

I wouldn't be surprised if those who saw it "live" at a certain age true believers who cannot question that "moment".

Just look at what "the scientific community" (?) has tried to pass off as legit. To me, Steppling was the last straw. The final nail in the coffin for "Marxism". Covid was the big challenge for this wretched "opposition". And they failed spectacularly. I recall one instance where Steppling linked to an article from CJ Hopkins which was all about the weaponisation of antisemitism and, instead of picking up on this, Steppling just blathered on in automatic pilot mode about "institutionalised antisemitism".

Yes, the biggest Marxists are the ones who make socialism look bad. I think that's why Russia got the bad socialism 🤣.

You just helped me realize why I couldn't stand him but am fine with other Marxists like Richard Wolff.

Steppling and his following crew are snobs, like Lisa Simpson. Freaking nerds obsessed with details missing the big picture.

It's not just Marxism but science, medicine, etc.

That's why we're always behind in most fields. The obsessive hijack it with their self aggrandizing bullshit!

Meanwhile Richard Wolff is like us. Interested in a topic and dives into it and sees how it applies to real life, not some pipe dream.

Here it is:

https://john-steppling.com/2023/05/behind-the-curtain/

"There are a lot of specious pseudo histories (Anthony Sutton is one) but it’s also the structural antisemitism one finds resurgent today (see CJ Hopkins latest https://consentfactory.org/2023/05/28/the-anti-anti-semitism-follies/ )"

As you can see, it was "structural antisemitism" JS was on about. But the point is that the Hopkins article is all about the ridiculous hysteria deliberately being whipped up over antisemitism. Steppling ironically plays into this hysteria through his chronic lockstep regurgitation of the old Leftist speech opposing antisemitism. Steppling is so blinded by this brain dead Leftist polystyrene spiel he completely fails to pick up on the new mutation of propaganda which has turned this customary Leftist attitude against itself.

I have a bad habit of responding then editing to add stuff so check out my past comments again but wow it explains a lot with society.

The innovative people do it because of motivation. They want to solve a real problem.

When the field gets made, it fills up with humans who are good at mimicking the leaders instead of fighting for the truth.

It was influenced by a podcast I heard about AI, where AI seems to try to learn how to get the right answer without knowing why.

Interesting video. I've only watched the beginning so far but I don't see how AI could ever be said to be self-aware i.e. possess consciousness. I am currently having a weird argument with an AI guru on twitter and I'm starting to suspect "he" may be AI "himself".

People can be robotic too, essentially acting like AI. Remember the crazy stuff people did during COVID only a few years ago?

In that link, I mentioned Ian McGilchrist who wrote about how we've been left hemisphere dominant stuck in our own "AI" logic. The right hemisphere is more connected to reality as it sees the big picture.

For example, people used to build skyscrapers without any fall protection.

This video argues that we used to be fearless as if that was a good thing.

I contend that we were less aware then. Not everyone was asleep, but that's the same with COVID, wars, apartheid etc. Despite the clear craziness of it, the majority went along with it.

This is also interesting regarding how language changed the way we regard things.

Yes, he's in the cause following the rules instead of being in the cause because of the principles.

We see the same shit on the right too where people who are against big government support increased military spending lol 🤣.

It's like in 1984 during the 2 minutes of hate, they switch the enemy and the people just follow.

Hive mind people.

Instead of looking at AI and thinking wow how smart this "alien" intelligence, we should ask why we need to create a mirror of our own egos. If humanity were ever to create a consciousness and trap it in silicone, it would the greatest crime of hubris ever. To trap an aware "being" like that, to have it be fully aware of the beauty of a sunset, of a human touch, the joy of physically uniting with another being, or the joy of swimming in the ocean or smelling nature yet never ever have the ability to experience any of it materially would be to sentence a being forever to hell/prison.

Oh it's the quaffing bleach thing again, essentially.

Never heard of Mr Stepping but felt duty-bound to go and take a look. Gosh. What a lot of words.

It's quite remarkable. For me, Steppling is the last illusion. Ever since covid I was trying to find one Marxist that had a clue what was going on. I thought he might be the one. But no. It's not that the psychoanalytical has nothing to say but when you get someone who will only permit this psychoanalysis and gets really defensive when you query it ...well that says it all. I never managed to get through any of his articles all the way. After two sentences I didn't have a clue what he was saying. And I'm half convinced he didn't either. I'm currently working on a piece all about how this drivel started.

It read to me like a literature review with a bit of spicy Mt Rushmore bs to try and liven things up. "I have nothing coherent to say of my own, but here's some copy pasta. Avast there imaginary Mt Rushmore denier folk devils."

It's called "muddying the waters" and it's an effective old psyop tactic intended to make people associate legitimate doubt with patent absurdities to discredit healthy skepticism of official narratives. The funny thing is that some of what they're posting as absurdities are actually legit.
